JUAN VERDE

(President, Alamo Holding Group President, Experts Advisory Council Chair of the Board, Advanced Leadership Foundation)

Juan Verde is a globally recognized authority on economic resilience, sustainable development, and geopolitical competitiveness. With more than three decades of experience, he has served as Chair of multiple boards, a corporate strategist, philanthropist, and policy advisor at the highest levels of government and business.

He currently serves as Vice Chairman of Volcan Compañía Minera and sits on the boards of HISPASAT and the Airbus Foundation. As President of the Experts Advisory Council and Alamo Holding Group, and Chair of the Board of the Advanced Leadership Foundation, Mr. Verde leads institutions committed to preparing companies, governments, and future leaders to thrive in the global green transition.

His leadership has guided Fortune 500 companies like Google, Cisco, SAS, American Express, and Banco Santander toward sustainability strategies. He has also advised the Inter-American Development Bank, Harvard University, and the World Bank, and founded the American Chamber of Commerce in the Canary Islands and Gibraltar.

In the public sector, Mr. Verde served on the President’s Export Council under President Biden and held key roles in the Clinton and Obama administrations, including as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia at the U.S. Department of Commerce. He has worked closely with top leaders such as Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, Ted Kennedy, and John Kerry.

He is a frequent keynote speaker on economic resilience, climate innovation, and sustainability as a competitive advantage. His engagements receive a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 98 and have positioned him as a key reference in sustainable business transformation.

Mr. Verde holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor’s in Political Science and International Relations from Boston University. He has been recognized as one of the 100 most influential Hispanic leaders in climate action, and his work continues to shape the path toward a more prosperous and inclusive green economy.

PILAR MENDIOLA-FERNÁNDEZ

Pilar Mendiola-Fernández is a distinguished global strategist with over 25 years of experience driving institutional, corporate, and governmental transformation at the highest international levels.

 Throughout her career, she has developed and led adaptation, growth, and resilience strategies for more than 60 heads of state and 50+ executive boards across Fortune 500 companies, U.S. federal agencies, leading start-ups, NGOs, and international organizations including the World Bank, IDB, and IMF.

As CEO of the Experts Advisory Council, Pilar leads the strategic alignment of global organizations with world-class experts in sustainability, innovation, technology, and talent transformation. She spearheads future-proofing initiatives that prepare institutions to thrive in uncertainty by leveraging foresight intelligence, trend data, systems thinking, and sustainability-driven innovation.

In her role as Group COO of Alamo Holding Group and CEO of Alamo Solutions, she oversees international operations and leads high-impact initiatives focused on human capital, executive leadership, innovation, and sustainable economic development across more than 50 countries. Her leadership has been recognized by The Economist, Forbes, CIO Times, Women of Wealth, New York Journals, Forbes UK, and CIO Views for her unique ability to anticipate disruption and deliver long-term strategic value.

During her two-decade tenure at The Washington Center, Pilar designed and led more than 75 global leadership and workforce development programs, directly impacting over 20,000 emerging and senior leaders worldwide. She is widely respected for her talent in building high-performing multicultural, multigenerational teams and her unwavering commitment to organizational transformation and social impact.

Pilar is also the creator of innovative leadership methodologies such as Clarity Room and Legacy 360, which blend neuroscience, human-centered leadership, and strategic design to accelerate enterprise transformation. She currently advises CEOs, governments, and multilateral organizations in Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East on strategic planning in the AI era.

She holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication and Education from the University of the Americas in Puebla, Mexico, and divides her time between Washington, DC and Madrid. Pilar’s long-term vision, her ability to forge transformational alliances, and her influence in global strategic thinking position her among the world’s foremost leadership voices.

JORGE BROWN

(Senior Vice President, Advanced Leadership FoundationExecutive Director, Advanced Leadership Foundation)

Dr. Jorge Brown is the Senior Vice President and Executive Director of the Advanced Leadership Foundation. With over 20 years of experience in international business development and political consulting across Europe and Latin America, he plays a central role in designing and executing strategic initiatives, managing partnerships, and measuring impact across all ALF programs.

As a leading advisor to both private sector leaders and public institutions, Dr. Brown has worked closely with presidents, ambassadors, and government officials, including serving on presidential transition teams in Mexico regardless of political affiliation. His expertise lies in corporate growth strategies, business development, human capital, and innovation.

He is also the President of Instituto del Futuro, a think tank and consulting firm focused on identifying global trends and building resilient strategies across sectors. Beyond his work with ALF, Dr. Brown is involved in various ventures from sustainable fashion to technology startups, with a focus on high-impact, purpose-driven innovation.

Dr. Brown is known for his ability to convene stakeholders and lead global summits with a focus on responsible leadership, sustainability, and economic resilience. He has coordinated all major global competitiveness summits organized by ALF and contributed to pioneering projects such as carbon offset investment funds for the tourism and ocean sectors.

He holds a PhD from Camilo José Cela University (Spain), a Master’s degree from Columbia University (USA), a Master’s in Law and Economics from the Universities of Ghent and Stockholm, and has conducted doctoral studies at the Ortega y Gasset Institute in Madrid.

ARMANDO JIMENEZ

(Chief Development Officer, Advanced Leadership Foundation Senior Advisor, Alamo Holding Group)

Dr. Armando Jiménez San Vicente is the Chief Development Officer of the Advanced Leadership Foundation and Senior Advisor to Alamo Holding Group. With a distinguished career spanning more than 30 years, he is recognized as a global thought leader in international business strategy, public policy, and economic development.

Dr. Jiménez is a senior member of Harvard Business School’s MOC (Microeconomics of Competitiveness) Strategic Group and has authored several books on strategic planning and international marketing. His academic and advisory work has shaped the thinking of public and private leaders across Spain, Mexico, Peru, and the United States.

As a former Deputy Secretary of Energy in Mexico under President Felipe Calderón, he led national energy policy development, coordinated NAFTA energy interconnection strategies with the U.S. and Canada, and advanced green energy adoption across corporations and government entities—including leading the creation of Mexico’s first photovoltaic Walmart.

His consultancy work includes engagements with the OECD, World Bank, and international media outlets such as América Economía, El Economista, and The Conversation. He has advised corporations, heads of state, and global institutions on economic forecasting, investment strategies, and political risk.

Academically, Dr. Jiménez holds a Law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes, a Master’s in Public Administration from Harvard, a Master’s in International Relations from Boston University, a Master’s in Financial and Commercial Law from Georgetown University, a PhD in Political Economy from the London School of Economics, and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Sustainable Development from Stanford University.

Fabia Silva

(Chief Innovation and Advanced Technologies Officer, Advanced Leadership Foundation)

Fabia Silva is one of the most influential women in the Spanish-speaking tech and business ecosystem. An international benchmark in purpose-driven innovation, she is the founder of Global Future AI and CEO of Dronak, a pioneering company in autonomous and remotely piloted robotics for industrial applications. Her work has been recognized with more than 16 awards for business innovation, social impact, and sustainability leadership.

She currently serves as Chief Innovation and Advanced Technologies Officer at the Advanced Leadership Foundation, where she leads global efforts to integrate emerging technologies and innovation strategies across sectors. Her voice is regularly featured in global forums on artificial intelligence, strategic sustainability, and transformational leadership.

Fabia is a member of the Leadership Team at the MIT Entrepreneurship Forum and has represented the Government of Spain as an official delegate at COP25. She is also an ambassador for international initiatives on circular economy and tech-driven innovation.

Among her many recognitions, Fabia received the Gold Medal for Merit in the Workplace, was listed in the Top 100 International Innovation Leaders, and was a finalist in the Globant Awards. She has also been a mentor in Banco Santander’s “Mujeres con S” program and Ambassador of Talent Woman Spain.

She holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management, Digital Transformation, and Social Innovation, and executive training in female leadership, sustainability, and disruptive technologies. With more than 20 years of experience connecting continents and empowering inclusion through technology, Fabia promotes a humanistic vision of innovation: human intelligence must guide artificial intelligence to build an ethical, prosperous, and sustainable future.

MAITE MOYA

(Chief Programs and Strategic Initiatives Officer, Advanced Leadership Foundation)

Dr. Maite Moya is Chief Programs and Strategic Initiatives Officer at the Advanced Leadership Foundation and a pioneer in leadership development through applied psychology and neuroscience. With over 20 years of experience, she is the creator of the Liderapia methodology—endorsed in 2012 by the Science and Business Park of Miguel Hernández University in Spain—making her a trailblazer in the integration of mental reprogramming and measurable leadership transformation.

Her methodology has achieved hundreds of success cases and is the only one of its kind in Ibero-America capable of reaching up to 90% of a participant’s potential with tangible ROI in corporate and governmental training programs. In 2022, she incorporated virtual reality into her therapeutic approach, reflecting her belief in the practical use of technology to enhance human development.

Dr. Moya has delivered keynote speeches alongside global figures such as John Maxwell and has worked with institutions and companies like Nike Northbay, Grupo Prisa, and the Chamber of Commerce of Panama. She is also the author of several books, including The 13 Threads That Weave Identity (2024), The Language of the Mind (2021), and Liderapia (2018).

Her multidisciplinary training and strategic vision have positioned her as a trusted advisor to multinational companies and governments in Latin America, the United States, and Europe. She currently leads a network of international professionals and delegations in Panama, Ecuador, and Miami.

Dr. Moya holds two doctoral degrees (in Psychology and in Sociocultural Anthropology) and seven master’s degrees, including in Urbanism, Mediation, Strategic Communication, Neurolinguistic Programming, Project Management, and Human Resources. She also has formal training in law, fitness, and public image. Her work reflects a lifelong dedication to understanding human behavior, communication, and strategic leadership in a constantly evolving world.

Pedro Pérez Mejías

(Director of Institutional Outreach and Advancement, Experts Advisory Council)

Pedro Pérez Mejías serves as Director of Institutional Outreach and Advancement for the Experts Advisory Council, where he leads strategic engagement with governments, industry stakeholders, and global institutions. His work focuses on fostering cross-sector partnerships and facilitating high-level collaboration around innovation, policy, and development.

Pedro has led seven-figure international initiatives and previously served as Chief of Staff and Communications Manager at Alamo Solutions, where he advised senior leadership and oversaw business development efforts across North and Latin America.

Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, Pedro brings a global perspective and strong intercultural fluency to all his engagements. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and Public Policy from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and is a fellow of The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars in Washington, D.C.

Martha Alejandra García

(Director of Global Advancement, Alamo Holding Group Chief of Staff to the President, Experts Advisory Council)

Martha Alejandra García is the Director of Global Advancement at Alamo Holding Group and currently serves as Chief of Staff to President Juan Verde. In this role, she leads the strategic management of the executive agenda, coordinates international teams, and provides direct support in key areas such as strategic planning, global summits, presidential stakeholder relations, and executive engagement with Fortune 500 partners.

As part of her global advancement role, she also coordinates the Experts Advisory Council’s international initiatives, builds strategic partnerships, and contributes to the organization’s global vision. Her professional profile is defined by analytical thinking, operational efficiency, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of global dynamics.

Martha studied International Studies at the Central University of Venezuela and earned a master’s degree in International Business from the Metropolitan University of Caracas.

Giovanna Malanga

(Head of Global Experts Relations Experts Advisory Council)

Giovanna Malanga currently serves as Head of Global Experts Relations at the Experts Advisory Council, where she leads strategic coordination with global experts in sustainability, innovation, and leadership. Her role spans logistical planning, expert engagement, and high-level relationship management with thought leaders, think tanks, and cross-sector advisors, ensuring seamless execution aligned with the Council’s global vision.

In parallel, she actively supports the Advanced Leadership Foundation as the lead coordinator for the Global Sustainability Summits, overseeing end-to-end logistics and organizational support for international events that promote sustainable leadership across public and private sectors.

 

Giovanna is pursuing a degree in Marketing and Advertising at the Universidad Bicentenaria de Aragua. She is recognized for her attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to operate effectively in dynamic, multicultural environments, consistently delivering excellence in every initiative she drives.

Breje Williams

Breje Williams is a multidisciplinary strategist with a background in international business development, AI integration, and U.S. public sector engagement. At Alamo Solutions, he is a leader in coordination efforts for entry into the U.S. market, managing strategic partnerships, stakeholder alignment, and champion-based market access.

His career spans politics, business development, media, real estate development, and nonprofit leadership, grounded in a background in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from Suffolk University and multidisciplinary studies at Harvard. Breje has worked with municipal and state institutions, led equity-driven infrastructure projects across the U.S., and built a reputation for mobilizing complex initiatives into actionable, high-impact outcomes.
